Niranjan Mehta comes from a Jain business family. This family has a tradition of using Vedic astrology and gemstones very successfully. They have been royal advisors to ruling families in Kathiadwad (Gujarat) and in the business community for 16 generation (it is on document). Niranjan Mehta learned the fundamentals of Vedic astrology from his maternal grandmother and mother. Soon enough, he attended the School of Astrology, which was run by the great Vedic scholar Sri Niranjan Joshi in Mumbai. He then manifested his knowledge with the help of his family background in using Vedic astrology rationally in business.
